Membership

Our wine club is dedicated to those who appreciate terroir-driven Chardonnay and Pinot Noir crafted in limited quantities.

Not Taking New Members

Bjornstad Cellars is not accepting new wine club members at this time. With an average annual production of approximately 800 cases, our allocations are currently committed to existing members.

Bjornstad Cellars is rooted in the belief that exceptional wine begins in the vineyard. The grapes for each release are sourced from venerable Sonoma County sites, including Ritchie Vineyard, Hellenthal Vineyard, Porter-Bass Vineyard, and Van der Kamp Vineyard. These vineyards are farmed sustainably and biodynamically, with careful attention paid to every stage of the growing season. The result is a portfolio of single-appellation Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that expresses the character of each location, from the Russian River Valley to the cooler mountain exposures along the West Coast. Every bottle reflects a commitment to representing place and terroir with honesty and intention.

Winemaking at Bjornstad Cellars follows traditional Burgundian techniques, with small lots fermented and aged with minimal intervention. The wines are raised in a style that prioritizes balance, texture, and aromatic complexity rather than overt oak or extraction. Because production is intentionally small, each vintage offers a limited snapshot of the season and the site from which it came. This approach demands patience and precision, and it yields wines that reward careful cellaring as well as immediate enjoyment. For those who value handcrafted, terroir-driven wines made in tiny quantities, Bjornstad Cellars offers a distinctive perspective on Sonoma County's most expressive grape varieties.

The wine club at Bjornstad Cellars has historically provided members with exclusive access to small-production, single-vineyard releases that rarely reach the broader market. Given the extremely limited annual output, allocations are necessarily small, and the club has been structured to reward long-term supporters of the label. While the winery is not currently accepting new members, the existing community continues to receive priority access to each vintage as it is released. This arrangement allows the winery to maintain its commitment to quality and scarcity while ensuring that those who have followed the label from the beginning remain at the center of its distribution.

For those interested in staying connected to future releases, the mailing list serves as the primary channel for news and announcements. Subscribers receive information about upcoming vintages, event invitations, and occasional offers tied to seasonal releases. The list also provides a way to learn about the winery's activities beyond the cellar, including tastings and gatherings that highlight the vineyards and people behind each wine. Following Bjornstad Cellars across social media offers another window into the winery's daily work, from harvest updates to glimpses of the winemaking process. Together, these channels keep wine lovers informed and engaged between releases.
